As President of Tanglewood Property Group, Mr. Hagendorf is responsible for development of company goals and vision, providing strategic leadership to meet approved objectives and -overseeing all company business units and pursuits including portfolio analysis, property and asset management, property leasing, business development, property acquisitions and real estate investments. Prior to joining Tanglewood Property Group, Mr. Hagendorf served as SVP with Colliers International, SVP with Grubb & Ellis Company and Senior Investment Advisor for Sperry Van Ness. In these positions he was responsible for representing real estate investors in the disposition and acquisition of commercial real estate properties. With Sperry Van Ness he was honored as a member of the President’s Circle of Top Producers for being in the top -five percent of over 900 brokers nationally. Henry has represented clients in the marketing and disposition of healthcare and office properties valued in excess of $500 million. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer for the Texas operations of REOC Property Services, LLC, a regional commercial real estate company with offices in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. His responsibilities included oversight of all transaction services, office and multi-family property management and leasing activities, human resources and administration. He gained extensive experience in all phases of portfolio management, project leasing, project valuations, rehabilitation, staff training and leadership. Prior to joining REOC Property Services, Henry was Executive Vice President of Farr Asset Management Corporation based in Washington, D.C. As an executive officer and member of the Executive Committee, he participated in strategic planning and business development for multiple business units - asset and property management, construction management service, business development, and shared marketing and leasing responsibility for a portfolio totaling three million square feet in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. As General Manager, Eastern Region for Prentiss Properties Limited, his responsibilities included property and asset management for five million square feet of commercial properties located in a five-state area. Prior to Prentiss, Mr. Hagendorf was the Group Property Manager for Gerald D. Hines Interests, working in the Hines organization from 1980 – 1984. Henry earned his BBA degree from Sam Houston State University. He is the former President of the Houston CCIM Chapter and former Regional Vice President for the CCIM Institute. He is designated as a “Certified Commercial Investment Member” (CCIM) by the CCIM Institute, designated as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute of Real Estate Management and a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) by the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). He has been published numerous times in local and national real estate publications.
